Contact your Senators and urge them to support labeling of food from cloned animals

In response to FDA's December announcement that they will likely approve milk and meat from cloned animals for food production, U.S. Senator Barbara Mikulski (D-MD) has introduced the Cloned Food Labeling Act. This act would require any foods contaning products from cloned animals or their offspring be labeled as such.

 

 

Stop the Approval of Genetically Engineered Fish!

The Food and Drug Administration has made the informal decision to regulate transgenic fish under its authority to review new animal drugs. Given the potential toxicity, allergenicity, and aquaculture diseases posed by the commercialization of transgenic fish, CFS is demanding that the FDA adopt a pre-market regulatory review that does not ignore these potential human health safety concerns.
